Pinon pine nuts have high concentrations of monounsaturated fat, which paves the way for a healthier cardiovascular system. Vitamin D content leads to stronger bones and teeth, by improving the body's ability to absorb calcium. Vitamins A and C may sharpen vision and boost the immune system.
100g of pine nuts contain 31g protein, the highest of the nuts and seeds.
Uniquely amongst nuts, certain fatty acids in pine nuts might help to curb appetite according to a new study. Women who had taken pine nut capsules reported less hunger than those who took the placebo pills.
Nuts are good sources of dietary fibre and a wide range of essential nutrients, including several B group vitamins, vitamin E, minerals such as iron, zinc, potassium and magnesium, and antioxidants.
IT IS BETTER TO EAT A VARIETY OF NUTS... thus obtaining a wide range of nutrients—than to eat just one or two preferred types. A health-promoting daily intake of 25–50grams of nuts is about one small handful.
Simply adding nuts to your existing diet is not appropriate. If you decide to include them in your diet it should be at the expense of other, less nutritious foods.

They have a lot of good things, amino acids, proteins, etc............
But do you know how many grams of fat are in 100 pine nuts? Check out the link. Not sure that makes it worth eating that many to get protein when there are so many other ways to get protein without all that fat.
