My boyfriend has been living with me for the past year, I thought everything would be fine, but the truth is we fight almost everyday, I have tried to deal with it but i can't any longer. I have tried to break up with him so many times but every time I do this,He cries to me and tries to hurt himself ,he tells me that if I leave him He doesn't know what's going to happen to him. He scares me He's hurt himself twice before. The first time he hit himself with a flower vase over the head I had to take him to the hospital for stiches. I don't know what to do. I feel this is affecting me more than it is him. I want to get him help but what should i do? Please help.

let him die and live your own life. Anyone who results to suicide is a coward and a p*ssy and is trying to take the easy way out. If he wants to do it so bad let him it his life. And you shouldnt have to live your life worring about anybody else live your life to the fullest dont let anybody or anything hold you down. That or say I am leaving you once and for all and as you drive away call the cops and thell them he is sucidal and to get him help they will watch him.

It sounds like he is very manipulative. You can't stay with a guy just because he's threatening to hurt himself. Don't get me wrong. I feel sorry for him and I'm sure you do, too, but you have the right to leave a relationship you're not happy with. I sort of know how it is, because when I broke up with my ex a couple of summers ago, he actually cut himself. I ended up calling his parents, who came in from out of town to pick him up and take him to their place. I don't envy you, and I really wish you a lot of luck.

That's not healthy for you to be in that relationship. Tell him, gently, why you are leaving and just do it. Don't be persuaded or intimidated by threats of violence or suicide. When he DOES threaten to kill himself, call the police immediately. They will transport him to the emergency room, where some sort of emergency counseling will be provided. They can get him the help he needs.

To save yourself, you have to do this.

This is mental abuse and you should go before it get's any worse if he was going to do something to himself he probably would have done so already, that being said if he does do harm to himself thats exactly what it is is harming himself it WILL NOT BE YOUR FAULT. If you think you can't do this tell him to get counceling and if says no then leave.
GOOD LUCK TO YOU

I don't mean to sound so mean but leave him. what he does to himself is none of your concern, chances are he's bluffing but never the less, it's not your problem so don't think it is. The boy is crazy and needs to go and seek professional help.
