I personally believe that it does not dignify a response when someone attacks you on this forum. My feelings are that to engage in such a war of words shows lack of maturity and intelligence. I would be embaressed if I wrote some insulting and egotistical responses on here and someone where to show it to my sensei in my dojo. That would be shameful. I personally ignore foolish uneducated arguments. I believe all people are entitled to their opinion regardless of what they may be. Any opinions?

I concur with you completely.

Arguing online is an excercise in futility and the only contest is to see who is the bigger *sshole, who can be the loudest, who can be the coarsest, who can be the vilest.

I refuse to participate. Some think that I am a pacifist. That is not so. I am well trained by my father and my Grandmaster. I can hear them both in my head were I to act the *ss on the net.

My Grandmaster would have taken me to task had someone showed him somewhere I was behaving like an internet bully as well. There was a zero badass policy in that Dojang, for any reason. If someone was a bully, even outside of the Dojang, my Grandmaster would toss him out on his ear if he heard of it. I was the same in my classes. I did not accept badasses and, if I learned that they were bullies, out they went.

Everyone is indeed entitled to their opinions, and to express them. If we do not like this opinion, then we can choose how we are going to express it. If someone is an Internet Bully, we can decide whether or not to stoop to their levels.

I enjoy a good debate with someone who holds a different opinion than myself. I have my own board and, since I am God on my own board, I have strict rules of debate. I believe it should be civil, courteous, and the issue should be debated rather than the individial.

I like the way you think.

I personally dont look at the answers of others until after i have answered the question myself. This allows me to use the knowledge that i know and only voice my opinion.

Im suprised to see such lack of maturity in the MArtialArts section. Obviuosly some have not grasp the teachings of Martial Arts.

Everytime i come across arguements i just think of this: "Arguing Online is like being in the Special Olympics, even if you win, your still retarded."

Yeah your right dude. I don't see much point in arguing with anyone here either, so I just let em vent, get their two cents out and move on, If I get the 10pts cool, if they get the pts fine by me, all that really matters is whether or not we answered the question as close as the person that posed the question liked it to be answered.

that's all I really care about, arguing over petty opinions just wastes time and space here so no, I don't argue with anyone here, correct them maybe but never argue, I've got too many other important things to do other than get capal tunnel trying to get my point across to someone who's already made up their mind that they're not gonna at least hear what I think and dismiss it just as quickly.

Some question worth the argue, some question are not,
Some question are bound to be taken seriously, some question are not

i agree with u though, no matter which context, any words or argument or opinion are not supposed to be intentionally insulting other people...

No, I don't think it is worth the time or the effort to argue with someone on here. I personally don't want to see it either. Take it offline to Messenger or through email.

Arguing on the net is for losers with entirely too much time on their hands.

Many people argue because they're mad and upset. However I argue because I enjoy doing it. Go ahead and call me egotistical, unintelligent, immature, and any names you like to. Why should I care if I'm having fun arguing with other members?
