Hot water with a slice of lemon and a teaspoon of honey works wonders, an oldie but a goodie!

Try "Tylenol Cough and Sore Throat with Instant Cool Burst Sensation". It soothes and cools down your throat and it really makes a dry torn-up throat feel much better. It's blue in a clear bottle and it isn't very expensive.

Delsym. At the drug store. Can stop the urge to cough for up to 12 hours. It works.

Lobelia is very very good for coughs, you can get it from some health food shops, but www.herbalremedies.com has it, they are in the US, but ship to the UK in about three days, and they take credit cards, this stuff will cure your cough in no time, guaranteed.

Had the same problem and it was caused by REFLUX. Once I started taking pepcid (OTC) for a few weeks the coughing stopped.
