Many of you say "no" to Jesus' offer to eternal life because you will not repent and put your trust in Him. Jesus said the same thing 2,000 years ago. "Then said one to him. Lord, are there few that be saved? And he said to them, Strive to enter in at the strait gate: for many , I say to you, will seek to enter in, and shall not be able." - Luke 13:23-24. Isn't this prophesy fulfilled?

This is not much of a prophecy, if any at all.

It is a conversation between Jesus and his dad. There is no one saying that in the future this will happen. In fact, it is not saying that anything is going to happen except that some people will seek entry and be denied.

This could apply to racial segragation in the 50's and 60's. This could apply to UN inspectors trying to get into Iraq. This could apply to a guy named Dewayne who was denied entry into a club this last weekend.

To look at this and proclaim it as a fulfilled prophecy is pretty weak.

No. Where's jesus? Judgement day hasn't arrived yet, so the prophesy can't be fulfilled. You have no authority to judge anyone's salvation.

I have a problem with "destiny" in this question. God gives each person the freedom to decide for themselves. He does know what decision they will make but that doesn't mean they are predestined to go to hell.

All prophesy is and has been fullfilled in jesus - God is outside of time because it is part of his creation.

No because there are still many who think they will get to Heaven by works or by just being good.
