I knew what it was before I even clicked it.

Great show. That episode is especially good.

I watched probably 5 minutes of it.

I am a Christian. And believe in the Bible 100%. However, NEVER is the Bible meant to be a police report or history book to tell exactly when and how things happened.

The Video was very interesting and I think I will save the link, to watch more of it later. I like keeping my mind open and see what others are saying out there.

The Bible is a piece of art, wrapped in Theology and Historical occurances. Each of these factors effect one another. There is a historical event, there is theology, there is an artistic layout of the text.

I absolutely love Penn and Teller's B.S. But, in regards to the bible; they are a little out of their realm. You'll notice they don't have any apologist to give their view. They dug up some old liberal theologian, who is just damn laughable. So as usual you have a stacked deck.

In regards to the other people claiming to be messiahs. It's true, their were. BUT, these were false messiahs. How do we know this? Prophecy. So far, in regards to prophecy, the bible is 100% on the mark.

Study it, and you will find the bible is historically accurate. It holds together if you look at the literary aspects of it. Archaeologically it is 100% accurate.

I love Penn and Teller but they are full of crap here. Now the episode calling out the PETA creeps. One of my favorites..

I watched it...interesting...I don't believe in the Bible...man wrote it...what hallucinogens was he on? I also feel if there were a God, why all the suffering of innocent people? I need scientific evidence that there is a God. And what about all the people who claim to be such devout Christians but yet they can't live there life morally right? No thank you, I'm doing a good job living my life morally correct, I don't need all the hypocrites. Anyway, I liked the clip.

Penn and Teller don't have their facts straight. It's like asking a 4 year old child to explain Einsteins theory of relativity.

fools, that's what they r, they talk as if Nowa brought the animals to the boat, the Bible says God led the animals, Nowa didn't do a dame thing except build a dame boat. they R just fools, who have no understanding of God. or they would have saw that it was God that gathered them, and if God was in the minds of the animals, and led them to the boat, they would be obedient, and everything. The bible will only be open to people God wants to show them, the bible was not meant for Hippocrates, God would never give them wisdom. they all think a man did it, that's all I got to, then turned it off, when they were wrong about Nowa, Nowa did this, Nowa did that, OF course its impossible to see a man doing this, fools will be fools, I say about this video.

NO I won't watch anything that will conterdict the Lord and his teachings and What Gods word is. So if you wanna believe in Foolishness you will answer to the Lord.

Actually By the way I did watch about 6 mins of it and I didn't like how the Blaspmyed the Lord and His Bible and Teachings. People if you believe in this trash and watch this your teaching children those that don't know the Lord that Jesus and God and the Bible are Lies.

Sorry, can't watch the video. (At work!)
But anyone who takes the Bible literally needs to read it again!

I'm agnostic, but I watched the video. It was funny. It was obviously biased, but still educational. Just hearing from the scholars was in itself informative. Thanks for the link.
