pour a 60/40 mix of hot water and white vinegar on the spot and remove with a soft towel or rag. Use a standard wood floor cleaner after to remove any light haze.

It works wonders and it's cheap!

Primer is a tough one, unfortunately the products sold to remove the paint will also remove the finish of the floor. My only suggestion would be Goof Off. sold at all major home stores. If it doesn't work you will probably have to refinish the floor.....

Go to the paint store or possibly a hardware store and buy some denatured alcohol and put some on the tip of a rag and gently start to rub the spots out. It may take a few tries but just keep re wetting the rag and rubbing ...it will c0me off, and the denatured will not harm the finish on the floor....Painting contractor

It sounds like your floor must be fairly porous or unfinished otherwise it should come up fairly easy with thinner or water (while wet).

Try some commercial cleaner like goof off (check at your local hardware store).

If you can not get it out easily then your ultimate technique is sanding and re-finishing the spot.

good luck.
