It depends on how much the cat has been peeing as in how long has he/she been peeing on the couch?

If it has been a few weeks try RESOLVE PET STAIN AND ODOR REMOVER along with some lemon juice. The juice will not only take out the odor the rest of the way, but it will discourage him from peeing there again. Put a few tablespoons of lemon juice and water mixed in a spray bottle and spray it the things you don't want pe'ed on every two weeks.

White vinegar will work, or a dry cleaning session. You can bring the panel to a dry cleaner, but furniture cleanings can be expensive.

If you use white vinegar just make sure to rinse the entire area with water after to flush out the scent. I found hot water works best.

White vinegar will nutrilize most odors and I've found it to work well on cat urine. It was the only thing that worked to get the smell out of a sweater I have.

Have you tried Elimin Odor? It's stuff with enzymes (sold in the States at veterinary/pet places everywhere) specifically to get rid of the stuff that makes your pets wee wee smelly. Spray it, let it evaporate, the smell of the chemical will linger a while but the urine smell will go away.

With all of the pet odor removers out there if youve tried them and you havent found anything there is still good old arm and hammer baking soda. Take a spray bottle with warm water in it and pour in some arm &hammer and let it dissolve and spray on, when it dries there will be a white residue but you can wipe it off with water and then use something like febreeze. Or you can dissolve vinegar and water in a spray bottle and spray on and let dry and then spray with febreeze.

Add it to your shampooer or put some in a spray bottle with water and spray on the area and scub it out. -Shamppoer works better cuz it gets deep down . I've used to when my former cat decided to spray my entire living room-not good on a hot summer day..grrrr..But it does work -have recomended it to others with great results.

if you want to get the smell out so you can't smell it try febreeze. if you want the smell out so that kitty doesn't smell it try using vinegar that should neutralize the smell so she doesn't smell it and continue to do it. then try switching her litter to dr. elsey's cat attract litter. it's specially formulated to make kitty wanna use the box. according to the website they now have a urine removal program. I swear by his litter. we had one kitty who was abused who would freak out if you put her near a litter box especially one with a lid. we started using cat attract litter in one box and let her go and she started using it on her own. they also sell just a litter additive. just be warned the litter doesn't do very much for controlling the odor if you have more than one cat. http://www.preciouscat.com/urine-removal-program-p-8.html

I know exactly how you feel, my cat chose my most expensive couch and completely soiled it.
Advice? Make sure they don't do it again or you will have to get rid of your soiled couch.
