I have dated a few idiots in my time and now I have met the most wonderful man in the world. He always tells me that he loves me and that we are going to be together till the end, and that he would never break my heart, etc.. I want to believe him, but part of me is scared that he is to good to be true. Is this just my insecurity from past relations?

I know it is hard to be trusting when bad things have happened in the past, but in order to be in a healthy relationship you are going to have to trust. Unless he gives you reason to doubt him, enjoy it. Be spoiled, let him tell you all those nice things and eat up every min of it. If you dont believe him, or question him a million times, then one day he is just going to give up telling you and then you will regret it. Not all men are bad, there are good ones out there. Maybe you finally found THE ONE.

My guess is that yes it is insecurity, I have the same feeling about the guy Im with. You two will run into some hard times and then that will really be the test of your whole relationship. If he's really true he will be there for you thru thick and thin. Also sometimes things ARE to good to be true so you need to watch out. I'de say open your heart but not completely until you know for sure, good luck!

grab him by the penis (works best if you have long fingernails). ask him a question. if he lies, he will go limp.
