Me and my girlfriend went on our first romantic weekend together to a charming cottage in the New Forest. On the second day we had finished showering and were getting dressed together. I forgot which pair of underwear I was wearing the day before so I picked up a pair and gave it a sniff to see if it was fresh. She saw me and to this day I've never seen such a horrified look on someone's face before. She said it was completely disgusting and then she wasn't quite herself for the rest of the weekend. My question is...don't all men do this to their underwear? And wasn't I just unlucky to get caught? (by the way, the ones I picked up were yesterdays...yuck!)

That's weird and Gross , but if you took good clean care of yourself.....I don't think that you underwear would stink.....right.....think about some better hygiene and maybe you wouldn't have to worry if the underwear were yesterdays or last weeks...not saying don't change the underwear, only ....well your underwear shouldn't stink to the point of a Gross reaction.......don't you have a boyfriend???????

Yes, most of us do that. How else are you going to tell if it's yesterday's underwear? And there's nothing more disgusting than wearing yesterday's dirty underwear! What did she want you to do, just put on the nasty dirty drawers? She sounds like she's an overly prissy girly-girl (I hate chicks like that!)

Well if we were to make a list of all the dodgy and disgusting things women do we'd be here for some time.
I still say you can't trust anything that bleeds for 5 days and doesn't die.

Can't say ive ever done that, but i dont leave my used underwear with my clean ones...

even if i did do that, i think seeing a woman do it so soon into a relationship would break the nice image I had of her!

Haha that's cute.... are all of your underwear the same color? Maybe you need to try switching up the colors or patterns and you won't run into this issue..... It's not that huge of a deal though, although it tells her that you must smell quite bad down there to be able to determine which underwear were already worn!! Yuck!

I try to stick to socks, shirts, pants..... undies go straight to the dirty clothes pile..... I'm not willing to take that chance of stumbling over last weeks undies or some from a wild night out...

But if you do have to do the sniff test, make sure she aint watching.....Or just ask her to sniff them 4 u...

Regardless of whether anyone else does it (which they probably do), you shouldn't have done this in front of someone else, just as you wouldn't use the toilet, pick your nose, or spank the monkey in front of someone else. It's just a gross biological thing (and you discovered when you, essentially, put your nose in your own butt by sniffing the underwear).
You should be able to tell by looking which pair was fresher... smelling is a little unnecessary.

I'm thinking if you didnt know which were clean you should've just tossed them both in the dirty cloths and got a clean pair. And I think I would've been grossed out as well.

Mens pants are very similar - they come in packs of 3!!! We have to check which ones are clean and which one arn't. You would be in bigger trouble if you tell which were yesterdays' by looking!

Girl's pants are bought individually and have individual colours, styles with all bits of frills on too! Girls simply don't have this particular issue.

Ha ha, I think she is over reacting, but then again in her eyes it was a 'romantic weekend' and you sniffing your pants sent the romance right out the cottage window.
