I am a huge follower of deepak chopra. My sister saw him in an interview and he was asked "are you a prophet?" and deepak replied, " only if it is spelt p-r-o-f-i-t". She said he is open about how he writes just to make money. This changes my view on him... is this true?

You've been had by your sister. Chopra is a gifted and wise man.

The interview she refers to was on a comedy show (with Steven Colbert). Chopra also, obviously, has a great sense of humor.

I wonder. He surely charges WAAAAY too much for his seminars and products, which, while unique due to his copywritten labels can be substituted with stuff less costly and still be animal-friendly, for your dosha, etc.
