should i believe him when he said that he was looking on match for a friend from high school? We've been dating for a month and he told me that he wanted to be exclusive.

Been there...done that. I set up a profile on match.com and wrote to him...my boyfriend. He had zero idea it was me! Yes, I tricked him and it worked and he was definitely searching elsewhere...he also told me ( as the match girl ) what it was he didnt care for about me!
I was glad I did it and dumped him in short order. You shoulda seen the suprized look on his face when I asked him about the girl he was e-mailing on match... He stammered and then I told him that the match girl was ME.
I know you might like this guy but its only been a month. You can easily move on if you find out he's searching.

Get rid of him. If he cares he will pursue you and learn that he can't get away with lies. Once he gets away with it once, he is golden. Remember when you first broke up with your first love? you thought you would die...yeah, it goes away. Seriously sweetie, do your self a favor and get rid of him before he ends up lying to you about something serious.
There is always the "scam" fill out a fake profile with information you know he likes in a girl, and call him on it. if it walks like a duck, quacks like a duck...it is a duck. Good luck!

no i wouldn't believe him. thats an excuse. u need to let him know that if he's not satisfied with u then he need to hit the door. he has no business on a dating profile and u guys are supposed to be exclusive

Sit him down and have a talk with him. Ask him what he wants. and that if he is not satisfied with you, then he needs to be honest, Now really, you do not have to let him make this decision, because you do not have to put up with it, because he may still end up, back on the computer putting himself out their. So think of what you want to do!

Why would he be looking for a girl for his friend, that is a lame story. He is either looking for someone new or just someone to fool around with on the side, either way, your better off without him.
