If I run in place 10 times a day for 5 minutes will I raise my metabolism and burn as many calories as taking one 60 minute run?

no dear. it won't. try a 60 min run. I hate it too but prolonged activity is the only way to change your metabolism.

Can you do it for 20 minutes at a time, 3 times a day? That aerobic workout will help turn up your metabolism even faster. Especially if you exercise 20-30 minutes after eating.

Anything that's cardio will raise your metabolism:) ummmmmmmmmm I'm not sure why don't you check out those burning calories calculators to find out.

no, intermittent activity will not do a thing towards increasing your metabolic rate. Only prolonged activity will accomplish that.
