My dogs eat VERY well, however, so do I. The only reason I'd say my dogs eat better than me is because I have the occasional treat or eat out once in awhile whereas they really don't deviate from their regular food. I do also eat a lot of organic, lots of veggies, I cook at home 90% of the time and when I do eat out I try and order the healthiest thing I can find. But I do have a piece of cake or slice of pizza covered in cheese every now and then and my dogs don't. The difference is I can indulge my cravings once in awhile but the dogs aren't really able to tell me they'd kill for a Ben Jerry's pint of ice cream. I do think that most people that want their dogs to eat well also have that same philosophy with their kids and hopefully themselves. Some people may preach feeding their dogs well but they and their kids eat like crap, but odd are good that if you are conscious of what your dogs eat, you are going to be likely to watch what you and your kids eat as well.

yes if you donate the real food you were going to eat or even money, to some one who is down on their luck and hungry. it's healthy for your spirit.
