These are the closest airports with commercial services to Detroit Michigan:

Windsor (YQG) 6mi
Detroit Metro Wayne Co (DTW) 17.7mi
Flint (FNT) 56.3mi
Sarnia (YZR) 59.4mi
Toledo (TOL) 64.6mi
Lansing (LAN) 84.2mi
Cleveland Hopkins Intl (CLE) 88.4mi
Saginaw (MBS) 98mi

By the way, DET exists. It is however mainly used by general aviation with an average of over 240 aircraft movement a day. Over 170 aircraft are based at this airport. In comparison, DTW has less than 40% of its movement being non-commercial. It has more than 1400 aircraft movements a day, and only 16 aircraft based there.

DTW is the only airport in the area with commercial air service. It is big but well organized for a hub airport though.

all major airlines fly into Detroit. Northwest has ther hub in detroit so they probably have control of around 50-60 % of the commerical air traffic in and out.
