I don't know much about their fund raising tactics. I'm answering the question anyway because this is somewhat relevant. I have a problem with the fund raising tactics on TBN (Trinity Broadcasting Network).
They have a program called the Praise-A-Thon and different pastors preach at the audience to make donations. Most of them like the phrase "seed money". They say that seed money will come back ten fold. So if you send $50, God will send you $500. This principle cheats people who don't know any better. I can see a lot of the elderly sending money.
I watched the 700 club a couple of times. My opinion on Pat Robertson is that he isn't as big a crook as the folks on TBN. I honestly can't say whether or not he is in keeping with Christian principles like Billy Graham.

I have a problem with all the ministries who beg for money.
Jesus sent out the apostles and told them not to take a money bag. If a Christian ministry (or any other religious ministry) teaches Gods Word instead of their own "word" then that ministry will be blessed of God, and God will see to it that the ministry continues. In addition, if that ministry is feeding the people truth, those people would come back time and time again to the "troth" and no begging would be required, anyway.
Any ministry that needs to beg for money, isn't a ministry approved of by God. I know that sounds harsh, but hey, either people believe in God or they don't. This is really black and white. Its what separates true Christians from those who just like to "play church". If that ministry is teaching Gods Word, then they will know that God will see to their continuation. When they beg for money, they are saying that they love God, but don't really expect Him to see to their survival. Why would they think that unless in their hearts they really don't trust God.

If someone didnt have a problem with them I would wonder what was wrong with them. The fundies need to support their lifestyles and it takes money to do that.
