My existence and the existence of those I love, this beautiful planet, the galaxy and universe in which we live, all of these make me happier than I could ever describe. We are so very, very fortunate to be here.
My fears? I don't have any. I can honestly say that I am not afraid of anything. I may be shocked, angered, saddened, harmed, killed, it happens every day, to people everywhere, there is nothing so special about me or my loved ones that we'd have the right to expect to be "delivered" from it. Such experiences are part of life and I have to take the bad with the good.

Christians should fear God and only God but it's a good kind of fear so there really shouldn't be a WORST fear. For if God is on your side, then what is there to fear?

I think that you should ask both questions to both people. I am almost guarenteeing that you are trying to make Christains answer "athiests" and athiests answer something negative towards christians.
I am an athiest and my worst fear is that we are destroying this planet without thought and my children and grandchildren will die as the world faces severe climate change and ultimate death.
The thing that makes me the happiest is my family, love, and friends, as well as teaching.

Atheist here. What makes me most happy is my acceptance, understanding, appreciation of evolution and the scientific process and NOT a brainwashed religious, bible-thumping fanatic who trusts his whole life to a fantasy world and mythical beings and a book so outdated its scary.

Hard to say. Time spent with my fiancee and friends makes me happy. Playing golf on a sunny weekend day makes me happy (hearing the birds and wildlife surrounding me...) Knowing this is the only life I will ever enjoy - that makes me happy and makes life beautiful as well.

Worst fear?
I'm not afraid of death, because I have faith in the promises of God, but I am afraid of the pain that might come before death.
I know God doesn't give us a spirit of fear, but we are human, and we do have certain fears. But, we have God to help us work through our fears.

I'd have to say what makes me most happy is seeing someone's suffering alleviated in some way, or work done in the spirit of GENUINE altruism! Oh that's bliss!
