I agree, they must have had free will at one time, or Satan would not have fallen and taken some others with him.

Good answer. If angels did not have free will, then Lucifer could not have become Satan the Devil. He would have been forced to remain obedient to God.

The Devil is not a former angel of God. This is a manmade teaching. There is no scriptural evidence to support this. So it has no influence on something that is made up!
Though I would imagine that Angels probably do have free will they willingly submit to God's Will.

I did not see your last question and whoever said that Angels do not have free will knows very little theology,of course Angels have free will they love and serve God freely and even have time for us down here, all by free will.

I do not accept the Christian story of Lucifer. I find much more to my tastes the Islamic version that G-d made the Devil from fire---------to give people the choice of heaven and hell. This gives us complete free will.
Angels were made by G-d to obey his command and to worship him. They do not have free will.

wow, good question!
When I asked about becoming a serial killer in heaven I was told its impossible because there is no sin there.
It sounds intolerable with no free will.
