Pump your breasts for 15 on and 15 off so on and so on. Have sex if it's possable. Drink 2 oz of castor oil mixed with 6 oz of orange juice, this will make you poo so be prepared. The laxative will stimulate intestinal cramps that will cause you to have contractions. Drink lots and lots of water and maybe try walking or driving down a bumpy road!

I've heard that long walks may help...sex could also help.
I hope you realize that your "due date" is only an estimate...you may not be overdue at all. The baby usually comes when it's ready....also your OB will help determine if there are any steps you should take to get labor started.

DO NOT listen to any of those castor oil, purging stuff... You will go into labor when the baby and your uterus is ready. You may have miscalculated the time. For crying out loud the last thing you want is premature labor! When everything is ready and you don't force it, you will have a much more enjoyable delivery. I am not a fan of these convenient (for the doctor) induced labors either...Remember to relax .... labor is a natural development in life... not an illness. Good LUCK!

Hi, everybody I know who has gone overdue swear by raspberry leaf tea.
Also try having a few orgasms as this releases a hormone that can trigger labour.
Good luck

HI i tried everything with my first baby, so heres what i tried and hope it works for you, rasberry leave tea which helps start contractions, sex, long walks, spicy food, or if that doesnt work the nesting instinct always helped me !!
This may sound silly but with my second i had a bad cough and he come a week early due to my coughing but i wouldnt advise that !
Good Luck hope all goes well

Long walks and sex... Although I was 2 weeks overdue, so I'm not sure if those things helped - or if it was just time... (but 42 weeks pregnant makes sex MISERABLE!) But sperm has some kind of effect on starting labor - so... get at it!

7 days past a due date is not overdue. Due dates are just estimates. Many Dr's are now calling it an "estimated due date" instead. You are not late yet..dont worry : )

Sex! it is true, I was two days over due, had sex and went in to labour that night. If your cervix is 'ripe' as they say (I know, a ghastly term) which is entirely possible at this late stage, the prostiglandins in your man's semen will set you off.

Clean. Scrub the floors. Worked for me. I was 5 days over due with my first and scrubbed all of the floors in my house. Went into labor that night.
