yeah, maybe a new ball cap from his fav sports eam. Not a cd though...music can be way too suggestive and yet impersonal. Acard definatly. Maybe take him out to see a new release he wanted to see but you were not so hot about.

From personal experience, I would have to say yes. I know that I always enjoyed receiving things for Valentine's Day.
But it all depends on the status of your relationship. I mean, if you just started dating, then I wouldn't get him anything too expensive.
No matter how long you've been going out, though, a card works wonders. Especially if you include a personal message. They say Hallmark makes a card for everything. It's true. And tell him how you really feel about him.
To me, Valentine's Day isn't about one or the other, or who should be expected to do something for the other one. It's a day about love and relationships, and celebrating them. Even if you can't afford to rub two pennies together, certainly there's something you can do to show him how much you care about him.
Don't worry about going overboard on it. If you treat each other with love and respect the other 364 days of the year, then Valentine's Day should simply be an exclamation point on your true feelings for one another.
Just keep your chin up, and you'll be okay. Trust me.

If you want a boyfriend so bad, then I highly recommend following this https://bitly.im/aOfNM Since you've never dated or been kissed before, it's going to be hard to get a boyfriend if you don't know what to do but once you know what to do, you'll be able to get a boyfriend pretty easily and can share your dating stories with your friends and experience those feelings yourself. You'll even be able to attract guys you might feel is out of your league. I suggest going on a bunch of dates before choosing one guy to be your boyfriend. Have fun.

I honestly think you should. I mean both of you are each other's valentines, so why should only one of you get a gift? It's a nice way to show you care about him. I'm not saying you have to go out and buy anything expensiver er anything, just give him something to let him know that you're appreciative of him.
hope I've been of some help!

I have always gotten something for my husband. Even when we dated. I guess it would depend on what he is into. My dh LOVES baseball so one year I got him tickets for the opening game of his favorite team. The next year I got him concert tickets. This year he is getting the car kit for his XM radio.
Is it right for him to spend a ton of money on you for Valentine's Day and you do nothing for him? A relationship is 50/50. And Valentine's Day should be NO different.

I think Valentine's is a personal thing... Everyone shows their love & appreciation for their significant other in their own little way. If there is something that you want to get him... 'cuz it would be just the perfect thing for him, then go for it!
But I don't think you need to buy him something just because that's what Hallmark says. ;) Good Luck!

Yes. It doesn't have to be something big, but a sweet, handwritten card and something small (a CD he's been wanting, or something similar) is a really nice gesture.
And exchanging gifts is fun! But if he's never given you anything either, make sure he knows you're getting him something so he can reciprocate. ;-)

I always get him something. This year I have a surprise for him. Its the one day I can go all out and really make him feel extra special without him thinking I'm going to do something or I have something up my sleeve.

Some will say you don't have to because V-Day is all about the girl, but some girls, like myself, feel that Valentine's Day is about the love you share together and it would be wrong to say it's only about the girl.
