Do not be a pon that can be used as his comforter when he needs one. Talk to him if you are friends. To go see him is only putting yourself in a very vulnerable position. Not something you do if you have strong character and self respect. You said you THINK he's gay. You should find out. No prejudice, just find out. He could be attracted to both sexes. You really don't know this person so spend some time visiting on the phone and when you know where he stands, you can decide what you will do with your eyes wide open and all the cards on the table. You deserve that!

Why will you let your family or you down? What does your family have to do with it? And if you really think he's gay, why would you want to be around him at all? You obviously think he's gay because he shows no interest in sex with girls, including you, so why bother? All he's going to do is destroy your self-confidence. Perhaps what he really wants is to hug his mother. Maybe tell him that you'll see him if he changes the way he behaves, because as it is now, he's an embarrassment to you. Forget about him. He sounds like too much trouble, and since guys never give but always take, you're in a lose-lose situation with this one.

Hw wants to... What? you said he is gay. Anyway he is you ex now and not accepting his request should not make you feel guilty in any way. There are times when you should think about your own interest than how your family and friends will feel about your decision.

Remember he is your ex, for a reason. And it must be something if your friends and family, has something against him. So you need to be sensiable about this situation. Are their any other male friends you can associate yourself with, to go out and just have some fun!

He is your X for a reason. Who is your loyalty more closely tied to? If you feel you would be letting down your friends, family, and yourself by seeing him then the answer is easy. Say NO.

no. get rid of him. if your going to let everyone down, why blow it for your EX, who you already firgured out was no good for you in the first place..thats why hes your EX.

its up to you though, what would make you more happy, being with him and feeling guilt in letting everyone down, or staying away and finding someone new.

Well you could go visit him but nothing else. If you want to go visit him and visit him only then technically you didn't do anything wrong. Besides like my mom always tells me "You shouldn't worry about how everybody else feels around you, you should only worry about how you feel."
