For every day laundry, I add about a half a cup of ammonia. ( fumes can be over whelming so careful) White vinagar works well too. When i forgot to do these things or "boys" have been particularly dirty. I use a product from Ritz dye. It is called Color Remover ( MAKE SURE u want everything white!! I have removed the red band in fruit of the loom underwear before!)LOL They also make one called brightner whiter. This works well, But for the whites I occasionally use thecolor remover.

A really old remedy from my great gandmother - freeze your wet whites -

Along time ago all clothes were dried on the clothes line and during the winter clothes got whiter. With modern times- even in the techno age - freezing does work- I put wet things in my freezer for a day or two, thaw them out, and then dry them.

Very Hot water, detergent and of course bleach. If you have hard water it will turn your whites that grey/yellow color, in that case you can try the product "Iron Out" it works really nice.

I'm not sure about the ones that are already that way but my whites are always really white....I use liquid detergent as it doesn't clog the septic with Clorox advantage bleach which is thicker and doesn't splash..and I always put a cup of Vinegar in with my washing it cleans them better and it also helps with the static from drying....Hope that helps!!
