Dear "lion" - I have heard that all my life. It still seems worth pondering. The original Bible text (scrolls) before 325AD and even before 1611 are individually and collectively somewhat of a miracle.
Of course some Bubba Preachers that the Bible was originally written in English.

Preface: You are on a plane that is about to go down. You have a parachute underneath your seat, and where given instructions on how to put it on in the manual in the front pocket of the seat in front of you. However, you said, "I don't need this manual, I'll worry about it if it's necassary. Besides, they probably won't tell me how to use it correctly anyway. Then all of a sudden the plane begins to free fall out of the sky. You look around you hastily. Wishing now you had read that manual in front of you. As others around you have their parachute on, you sit frantically trying to hurridly read through the manual. Then throw it down and decide you will figure it out on your own. You attempt to manipulate the parachute, but it's not in your favor.
The manual: The Bible
The parachute: The Lord Jesus Christ
The point: You will have to jump oneday, except it won't be off a plane it will be into death.
Will you have read the manual? Will you be saved from the fall? The directions are in the manual on how to put on the Lord Jesus Christ.
The Bible=Iinspirational, Holy, the Word of God, it is your life manual.
Warning: Should not be ignored!

God inspired the Bible through forty writers.
Inspiration doesn't mean the biblical writer just felt enthusiastic, like the composer of "The Star-Spangled Banner." Nor does it mean the writings are necessarily inspiring to read, like an uplifting poem. The biblical Greek worked for inspiration literally means "God-breathed." Because God breathes out Scripture - because it originates from Him - it is true and inerrant.
Biblical inspiration may be defined as God's superintending of the human authors so that, using their own individual personalities - and even their writing styles - they composed and recorded without error His revelation to humankind in the words of the original autographs. In other words, the original documents of the their own personalities and literary talents, wrote under the control and guidance of the Holy Spirit, the result being a perfect and errorless recording of the exact message God desired to give to man.
Hence, the writers of Scripture were not mere writing machines. God did not use them like keys on a typewriter to mechanically reproduce His message. Nor did He dictate the words, page by page. The biblical evidence makes it clear that each writer had a style of his own. (Isaiah had a powerful literary style; Jeremiah had a mournful tone; Luke's style had medical overtones; and John was very simple in his approach.) The Holy Spirit infallibly worked through each of these writers, through their individual styles, to in errantly communicate His message to humankind.

It has been reported for about 50 years that the Bible has been the largest seller of all books published in the history of the world.
The Bible was written by about 40 men in about 1600 years dating from 1500 B.C. to about 100 A.D. These men wrote as they were moved by the Holy Spirit (2 Pet. 1:21). They wrote not in words of human wisdom but in words taught by the Holy Spirit (1 Cor. 2:13).

The Bible is a book man wrote, when they got intelligent enough to do so. The old testament is like the devils hate mail towards women, and all man are taught to have the same attitude, its subliminal.

Old Testament:
The Old Testament is divided into five sections: the Pentateuch (Genesis through Deuteronomy), the historical books (Joshua through Esther), the poetic books (Job through Song of Solomon), the Major Prophets (Isaiah through Daniel), and the Minor Prophets (Hosea through Malachi). The Old Testament was written from approximately 1400 B.C. to approximately 400 B.C. The Old Testament was written primarily in Hebrew, with a few small sections written in Aramaic (essentially a variation of Hebrew).
The Old Testament deals primarily with the relationship between God and the nation of Israel. The Pentateuch deals with the creation of Israel and God establishing a covenant relationship with Israel. The historical books record Israel's history, its victories and successes along with its defeats and failures. The poetic books give us a more intimate look at God's relationship with Israel and His passion for Israel to worship and obey Him. The prophetic books are God's call to Israel to repent from its idolatry and unfaithfulness and to return to a relationship of obedience and spiritual fidelity.
NEW TESTAMENT:
The New Testament is divided into five sections: the Gospels (Matthew through John), history (the book of Acts), the Pauline Epistles (Romans through Philemon), the General Epistles (Hebrews through Jude), and prophecy (the book of Revelation). The New Testament was written from approximately A.D. 45 to approximately A.D. 95. The New Testament was written in Koine Greek (common Greek, the everyday form of the Greek language in the first century A.D.)
The Gospels give us four different, yet not conflicting, accounts of the birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. The Gospels demonstrate how Jesus was the promised Messiah of the Old Testament and lay the foundation for the teaching of the rest of the New Testament. The book of Acts records the deeds of Jesus' apostles, the men Jesus sent out into the world to proclaim the Gospel of salvation. Acts tells us of the beginning of the church and its rapid growth in the first century A.D. The Pauline Epistles, written by the Apostle Paul, are letters to specific churches - giving official Christian doctrine and the practice that should follow that doctrine. The General Epistles compliment the Pauline Epistles with additional teaching and application. The book of Revelation prophesies the events that will occur in the end times.

Of course, the real God would have to be much more intelligent than the character referred to as "God" in the pages of this book. Taking this book literally is insulting to the real God.

This Bible contains the Word of God who, by the power of his Holy Spirit inspired these human authors to write down what they contain. These words can save your life -- and can condemn and convict as well.
Because they are God's inspired Word, they are as relevant today as they were when they were first written down. Love them, relish them as the true treasure that they are. Most of all, share its contents and live them fully in your own life that you may live.
