Ok i moved from my high school bristow oklahoma in 2002 to tulsa to go to vcs. There i met not only one of my closest friends, but my first love and i still do love her and always will. we were good friends and she has had a rough life and ive always sort of been there for her, but anyway i fell in love with her and one day she called me and wanted to meet up before i left for college so we did and she sat me down told me that she loved me and how i mean the world to her then i tell her i love her. then i went to college at osu and she is now at uco and we hardly talk. the only time we talk is when i text her, and i go buy her something for her birthday or for christmas. Ive been real depressed why dosnt she want a relationship with me?? i love her and if she loves me then we should be together. she means the world to me and i would die for her and she knows it what should i do. have any ideas please let me know ive been really depressed for a really long time and i really do love her?

Well one, she's doing other guys in college so get yours too while you can. Maybe you can hook up after you both graduate.

Face it, it's over. You two grew apart during this time.... Life is only beginning here. Figure out what you want out of life and your education before you jump into a serious relationship, and then when you are ready, find that one who shares the same interests and you two will enjoy life together!
This girl is probably laughing at you to her friends about how this poor guy is texting her all the time and buying her gifts, or they are all feeling really sorry for you trying to plot a way to end this without hurting you.
Nobody wants to be in a one-sided relationship, it's much easier to see this and move on, holding onto hope that will never be more is the hardest thing you can do. Let yourself love someone who will love you back and views relationships in the same manner that you do.

This can be tricky because you may both love each other but in different ways. She may only love you as a friend. What it sounds like to me is that she may be caught up in the college life and is losing track of herself. I would suggest you ask her out to dinner and have a nice talk about how you feel and what is going on. Best case, you both agree and get together, worse case, you at least know how she feels and what is going on.

maybe its because you guys are both at college and she just wants to focus on that right now. even though she loves you, she probably wants to focus on other things before getting into a relationship with you. or it could be because shes afraid of being committed especially when your in college, since theres alot of other people. you should call her and talk to her instead of texting her. ask her why. you never know until you ask or talk to her.
