And said, in a miracle of all miracles he had just spoken with God. Would you or could you doubt him? Lets say God spoke to him while in deep prayer and said the world would end in 7 days. What would your reaction be? Would you call the Pope crazy? What kind of proof would the Pope have to come up with and what if he had no physical proof?

The Pope is not a prophet. He is the visible head of Christ's Church on earth. Certainly the Pope does speak with God, as we all should. But if a particular Pope started playing the part of prophet, I would have the same serious doubts I have when anyone else starts playing the role of prophet. Especially concerning the end of the world, since Christ said no-one would know the time in advance.

No way! I would not believe him because he does not speak for Christians. Jesus is the only head of the church-he never appointed another head. I wouldn't believe the pope if he said anything whatsoever.

Read the biographies of former popes and you will see how corrupt many of them were. The Catholic church is all about taking people's money to "get out of purgatory"-as if there was such a place. They are an imposter for the true church.

Read Revelation 17 and 18 and you will see a harlot (false church) which resides in the city on "seven hills" (Rome). Do not be fooled by this false church but turn to Jesus and the bible for your salvation.

The pope has no say, he leads the false church, he leads souls away from God, he has no spiritual authority as far as real Christianity is concerned.

nope wouldnt believe him. i believe the pope is no different then any other man. he is part of a corrupt form of christianity, and i strongly disagree with him anyway. i wouldnt believe him. if it turned out true, then id be wrong, but i still wouldnt view him as anything special. and it would definatly make me turn away from his god for picking such a corrupt man to do his work. (which i guess would fit according to the bible, david the adulterer, lot and his incestual daughters, samson killer. blah blah blah)
