Don't worry, the doctor will give you a list of things that he can eat and things he should stay away from. The most important thing will be to keep him well hydrated. Offer him lots of water, you can add a little sugar to it to get him to take it. You'll be surprised by how quickly your little guy bounces back! If you have any questions at all, ask his doctor or advice nurse, they'll be glad to help set your mind at ease.

The doctor will give you a list of foods to feed him over a coarse of time. Do not ask any of these people on here as they are not doctors. They can only suggest what they did as parents. Everything works different for people.
Just wait to you go to the doc hun and he'll let you know.

Don't be scared :( :0)

I don't know the answer really but please do not give him banana. The enzymes affect the raw flesh and it is absolute agony. I know this because I was stupid enough to eat a banana two weeks after my tonsils were out - it hurt for two weeks afterwards.
BTW - I ate ice cream and then my food.

Not ice cream, it'll create excess saliva and will hurt him to have to keep swallowing. Try sherbet or fruit pops. Also, mashed potatoes saved my life! I hope your little guy feels better soon! Good luck to you too mom!

Its really up to you, you can wait to see if he grows out of it. If it's only been an issue the last month it may be the weather or maybe hes allergic to something he been eating or breathing.

As far as feeding...soft items such as applesauce, mashed potatoes, ice cream, etc.

I would offer only chilled breastmilk or formula. Unless he really wants something else.
