Yes, If your fet aren't ticklish I say go for it. It will be painful though, and you will not be able to put weight on your foot/feet for sometime. I would suggest if you plan on doing both feet to only do one at a time.

not recommended.
the ink wouldn't stay and the skin tissues on the soles of the feet is more dense, differently constructed and besides.. the bottoms of our feet take the most beating and shed more often.. and calluses, breakages of the flesh and other conditions lead to an tattoo that will fade if not look good at all.
the skin is tougher and the artist won't do it.
like with the palms of the hands..
it'll look blotchy, faint and the detail, color brilliance won't be the same.

Most tattoo artists won't guarantee any work done on the foot because it fades quickly. I knew a guy that had a squashed frog on the bottom of his foot...it only looked decent for a couple of years.

You can get a tattoo anywhere that you have skin. It might be a little harder on the bottom of your feet because they skin is tougher there.

I'm not sure, I know I had to talk to my tattoo artist into tattoing the top of my foot, he was getting away from it. You may want to call some reputable tattoo parlors and just ask them.

You can, but some artists might not do it, for good reason- the skin on your hands and feet replenishes itself way faster than other areas of the body because we use them so much. It will fade very fast.

My tattoo artist has a few in his portfolio..... to show people not to get them! They look alright for a few weeks but fade really quickly, and unevenly. They are not a good idea.

Um... why do u want a tattoo on the sole of ur foot? R u crazy? No one would see it anyway, except u.

u can put a tattoo almost anywhere.
ppl won't do under their feet because u won't be able to walk until it's healed
