I'm sort of baffled, are you diabetic? I only ask as healing can be slow, but the mouth is usually the fastest healing part of the body! Ice can actually make it worse if applied directly to the burn, its sort of like 'burning' it all over again only using cold to do so. Have you kept eating hot items? Re-burning may be the problem. Try swishing once an hour while awake with Listerine, see if that helps any. If you can't tolerate that, start off with salty warm water... make sure its barely WARM not HOT! Ok? Good Luck!

Try salt water as a rinse. As hot as you stand it, it is going to sting a bit but it may help. If this doesn`t work, then get to the doctor or ER. You could have an infection because you have all the food and drink touching your tongue all the time. HOPE THIS HELPS & GOOD LUCK

Wounds in the mouth heal the fastest. Try warm salt water. 1/4 cup of water with tablespoon of salt or whatever you can handle. The more salt the better. Do this every hour. If it does not feel better in 24 hours go to a Dr.

The mouth is generally the quickest area of the body to heal. I would suggest seeing your Dr., since your pain seems to be getting worse.

Swish with 3% Hydrogen Peroxide. It is very healing. And helps kill the pain.

If it seems to be getting worse, it probably is.
See a doctor or go to the ER. Do it ASAP!
