Train them, use leashes, fence in your yard, dont LET them go in the street. If you dont want them to get hit by cars. Why do they go in the street can you elaborate this, so we can answer you better?

PLEASE READ THIS ANSWER: I had a very loving dog named Boo, The day after my mother died he got out of the house and ran across the street to make use of the small field there, I yelled 'Boo get back here' with that, my neighbor ran into him and he died in my arms. Please, Please, do not let your dogs run into the streets. I lived on a fairly quiet street, and it only takes one car. Don't let them loose, keep them on leashes, put up a fence, but do what ever it takes to protect them. I have never forgiven my self for that, and it's been over 20 years. They're your responsibility. Live up to it and watch over them.

And with good reason, Safari. You're going to have to confine them somehow.
You could try putting them on cables- but some dogs are pretty bad about breaking them, and yours probably will be among them since they're used to running loose. Or you could try fencing in the yard and putting a layer of gravel or concrete under the fence so they won't dig their way out.
Good luck!

do your dogs make the rules in the house? either you get a fence and let them out into your yard or you use what is commonly referred to as a 'leash'. you take them for walks on this 'leash' and you don't let them run into the street. end of story.

You did not specify if you are in a city or rural.... but best to start with 1 on 1 obedience training until you get each one trained to at least come, sit and stay on command.... Then do not allow them to go out unsupervised -

Keep them inside. If you have trouble with that you should rehome them.
