hi! I just bought an elliptical trainer and have been doing about 25-45 min everyother day. I just want to get on a routine and possibly drop 5-10 pounds for swimsuit season... is this enough? should I be doing it longer? I eat pretty healthy and I am 5 ft 3 and 120 lbs. thanks for the help!

Sounds like you are at a good weight already.

3500 calories = 1 lb. so adjust your workouts accordingly.

good luck.

What you are doing now is pretty good, as long as you are closer to that 45 minute mark and not 25.

I think the whole training of an elliptical is 60min for the full work out. Try doing that and you will good for the spring time.

so far it sounds like your doing pretty good maybe just about 20-40 minutes everyday and you should really be okay but make sure that your not losing too much weight
