I am almost positive that your parents can not claim you because you made over $3300. You should ask a professional though.

You did not say you were a student in 2006. If you were not a full-time student then it is impossible for your parents to claim you.

Parents can claim a child up to but not including the year the child turns 24 as long as the child is a full-time student, lives with the parents more than 6 months, and does not pay over half his own support.

If you are a full-time student, and you are not providing over half of your own support, then they could still claim you up to and including the year when you turn 23, but not after that.

If you were NOT a full-time student for at least five months of the year, then no, they can't claim you even if they supported you. For a non-student, you'd have to be under 19. If they think they still can because you live at home and they support you, ask them to read the instructions for dependents in the 1040 instructions or IRS Publication 17 - it might keep them out of trouble with the IRS.

No, your parents cannot claim you. They can only claim you until the year you turn 19, unless you were a full time student.

I don't believe they can unless you are a full time college student. But really, if that's what you're making over the age of 18, I don't think they can.

NO, you are an adult, not going to school. So you file and claim yourself. They can not claim you any more even though you do live with them.

Nope. Not any more, not with your income.
