Sounds like your trying to find your 'niche' in life and striving for attention. Being a housewife rarely gets enough recognition in today's society and we get tired and have a need to be around 'grown ups' . The hardest task in life is to be and stay married. The people I admire most are those that stick with their marriage vows; their commitment to God. It's one of the hardest yet admires things in life. You've got life's whole package staring at you right in the face!!! Good Luck honey - the grass IS NOT greener on the other side!!!

I'm a man. Try finding activities on your own. It's your life. Maybe you could travel with friends or other relatives. Maybe your just doesn't want to be bothered. Who knows, you may end up finding something he's interested in, too, and you will have something to do together. If not, well at least you'll not be bored any more.

Sorry, I am not a man but I do have the answer to solve your problems.
JUST GO AND DO WHAT YOU FEEL YOU NEED TO. Maybe you have been in a relationship for too long but truly remember that you have ONE life, ONE chance. Do the things you need to. If he participates great. Let him know what you are up to, no secrets BUT at the end of the day you have to be yourself. Stop sacrificing your integrity for another. What example are you setting for your children? How to be pacifists, or how to stand on their own two feet??

Once a month.
Make up a new rule. Once a month (say 1st sunday of the month) you will have a time where you can talk about anything. Complain about problems, offer solutions etc. For one hour.
might work.
sometimes you have to 'hurt someones feelings' in talking about the truth. Sounds like your husband is depressed like I WAS. You might need to just start doing some things you enjoy and make him jealous... dress sexier... get a new job.. etc... but let him know he is welcome to JOIN any time he likes...

its called communication. You need to sit down with your husband and in a a non-threatening, non accusatory way, describe how unsatisfied you are with the status of your relationship. Many men, myself included, don't listen well and assume that silence means everything is ok.

You haven't learned how to managed your husband. You lack the skills needed to get your man to do anything your heart desires.
Get the manual on husbands. "The Proper Care & Feeding of Husbands". Once you learn how to manage him, you'll get your way.
