Because they don't know what true love is. Too many think it's a feeling, rather than an action.

The majority of people looking for true love never find it because they are looking for something that only exists through the social conditioning looking glass the majority of us have been exposed to. People expect to find an ideal that has been programed into us through romantic notions that have nothing to do with real life. We look for the perfect mate who will grant our every wish and be at our feet 24/7. We are so often let down because the people we do find are much to real to fit the mold of our outlandish expectations. We need to be more realistic, proactive and assertive in our search for our life's mate. True love is an action that entails embracing our partner's virtues and defects and making them reach their full positive potential for the benefit of the relationship. True love involves patience, tolerance, forgiveness, solidarity, open communication, level-headedness, and many more traits. We have to constantly work at making ourselves available to the other person. Love is not a feeling! It is not an emotion! It is not romantic! It takes sacrifice and the will to come to agreeable terms when your expectations are not met.

BECAUSE THEY ARE LOOKING! If they relax true love will appear into their life anytime or place ... when you least expected it! Thats how it works!
Try NOT to be in mission mode to find someone... if you go about it that way of yeah you will find someone but it will be the wrong person and a waist of time...but if you are a little patient and not so stressed about finding someone then when you least expected it you will have that special someone. Patience will pay off! It is the key! True love will find you!

because they look too hard, they analyze everything to the point where they will always be disapointed in something someone does, so they miss out on alot of opportunities because they are ready to dismiss the first flaw that they find that doesnt describe to them how true love should be for them....

What is true love?
The big problem is that you are looking for "A" and right there is "B", which is the same thing.
People so blind themselves to what they want that they sometimes to not recognize that the one thing they are looking for is before them

because when you look for it, your wanting it too desperately. just wait for it and it'll come sooner or later. theres a always a perfect time and place that it will happen. its always a surprise and unexpected. but if your always looking for it, it wont be as special. always wait and better things come.
