I got my first tattoo at the age of 16. It is the start of a back piece. It's done in kanji (japanese writing/symbols).

The first kanji I have represents me. I was born in the year of the dragon, and dragons have always been lucky for me. So, I got this as the first part. I have yet to add another one, as I am waiting for something important to happen before I add anything else. Eventually, I'll add to it when I graduate, when I marry, have children, etc. The first kanji is at the base of my spine, and they'll go up my spine as it continues.

What a fun question! My uncle (who was my tattoo artist) passed away this past weekend, and he started my backpiece for me, so it was nice to think about him in a good, happy way. Thanks so much!

I have two.. for now..

1. Pink and Blue nautical star on my lower back. I got this tattoo at a point in my life where I needed direction. How perfect. lol

2. A crescent moon with a haze going through it. It was the pattern in my room when I was a baby.

I am hoping to get a few more. A four leaf clover on my neck for my wonderful husband. He was born on St. Patrick's day. And the Kanji symbol for "promise" possibly on my wrist.

What a fun question :)
I have 5 tat's.
1- a black heart on my pelvic bone (this was my first tat so it really has no meaning)
2- a moon inside a sun on my lower back. the moon is a C which was the intials of my husband (at the time) and the colors surounding the design were colors of my family's birthstones
3- my current husband designed a starburst shape that I got on my toe right before our honeymoon, it also has his birthstone color in it. (he has the same only with my birthstone in it, and on his finger not toe)
4- my current husband and I got matching tat's (tribal) on our way home from the honeymoon. mine is on my ankel his on his wrist.
5-a black tribal tat on my upper back with my son's name under it. I left room for my next child's name in the design as well.
Thanks for asking, it was fun to share this info.
:)

I have five tattoos.

1.-A tribal butterfly done in ice blue with black tribal ranging from my sides .. it is on my lower back.

2.-Another tribal on the back of my neck with two points ending between my shoulders

3.-A bunnie with a guitar on my side (getting it covered . . it was just an outline and it was a freebie but the guy messed it up and it's faded really bad so it would be extremely easy to cover with a fairy which is getting drawn up now and I will probably do it around July)

4.-A pink and black sectioned punk star on my right inner wrist with angel wings and flames

5.-five chinese characters ranging between my hip bones (means "forever his" for my wonderful boyfriend) with a star on each hip bone (black) and stars growing smaller and fading to the points of the tribal on my lower back. (the stars kind of make a small upward arch going from my hip, across my side, to my lower back.)

I feel my body is an art canvas, and as long as their is free space, I will be wanting tattoos. .

I have 13 they are as follows. 2 four leaf clovers, gecko, turtle, dragon fly, 2 frogs, old school swallow, old school rose (Sailor Jerry piece), she-devil blooming from rose, sacred heart, and the word "tattoo" in Hangul (Korean). Oh yeah and the skull I got last Saturday.

Quite a diverse collection, far from finished.

Right now I only have one, of a black widow on my lower back. I'm trying to decide what else to get outside of the one I'm getting in memory of my deceased sister.
