I like using store bought fruit seeds and pits to use as exfoliants in my scrubs. I want to save some money and do this myself, using my own seeds and pits ect. Is there anything special to this? Do I need to preserve them in any way? I would like to use olive pits as well. Does anyone know if there is anything unique to crushing my own pits for storage and use?

Try coarsely ground almonds mixed with corn flour. Store in a tight container (glass) in a cold, dry place.

I don't know anything about that ( pits and seeds) but I like to use plain, whit sugar. ( rub gently, especially on your neck and face.) Also, a friend of mine uses brown sugar. I like to do this after a run. Sugar also works great on tough, calloused feet.

Morter and Pestle to crush. Add bit baking soda to your soap or cleanser. This is good scrub.
