I am looking to buy a honda accord or mitstibishi eclispe spyder (can't spell) has anyone heard any bad reviews on them? what type of car has good service? thanks for any input you may have!!

Honda's record is hard to match, as is there owner loyalty.

The Accord seems to stay at the top of public opinion.

The Eclipse Spyder, nice convertible, wish I fit in it better.
If you are after the Eclipse ensure that the vibration dampner on the crankshaft has been replaced on in really good condition. You will need a flashlight and a mirror to check the condition of the rubber between the outer and inner metal discs.

For performance I think the Accords with the bigger engines are faster, but the Spyder has the looks and can be tuned to move out.

if i were you i would choose the Accord. But if you want sporty good looking car - choose Mitsubishi.
