Yeah that sounds really sweet, but personally the poem sounds the best its a way to show him that you care. The other things sound more like b-day presents or Christmas gifts. Treat him with a poem, teddy bear, or maybe make a scrapbook of all the pictures of you two and make it with a valentines theme. Wal-mart has the cutest scrapbook items, those are just some ideas, then it comes from your heart and imagination. Hope i helped, have a wonderful day Good Luck :]

Not to be mean but most guys aren't that into Poems, so I would stick with he shoes and an xbox. Instead of a poem why not a gift certificate to his favor tie place with a cute little something inside. But if your sure he'll love the poem then he'll love everything else.

okay the poems is sweet- its not for him thou- its for you- got that right? Guys don't romanticize over poetry like woman do.

Get the shoes with some cute Valentine socks.

AN xbox is a bit much or a made up holiday. Go for a birthday or anniversary.

Just do the poem the other things can be given at anytime and a poem is far more meaningful. Then again I'm not a guy and I guess they can be shallow sometimes.

It is a day for romance not his birthday - stick with the poem (great idea) and maybe a nice meal
