my "new" 1995 rodeo "stutters" between 50 and 60 mph.

the guy who sold it to me said it may be the injector needs to be cleaned out or the spark plugs tested.

a friend says the car has one or the other but not both and it is probably the transmission.

any guesses from the yahoo experts?

The truck should have both Fuel Injectors and Sparkplugs. If it runs good otherwise I would leave the injectors alone!!!

Start with a tune up, plugs, wires, filters (don't forget the fuel filter)

If it is an automatic and the transmission is acting up it should be throwing a check engine or check trans light on the dash.

Could be several things, a clogged fuel filter could possibly cause a stutter, but if it accelerates past 60 thats probably not it.
The torque convertor in the transmission could also cause a stutter. A fuel injector would usually cause a problem at all speeds not just a certain range. Time for a call to a local certified technician.

dropping in and out of overdrive is a possibility,
to check if that's the problem turn the overdrive off(if you have a button)
if you do not have a button to do this put the transmission selector in 3 and test drive

feels like the blower motor to me, it would additionally be a foul change on your climate administration panel. Get it looked at should not be too high priced/complicated to interchange, removing some sprint panels maximum probable. examine all your connections once you have visibility of the wiring.
