I'm going to be buying a new PC shortly and I'm wondering if the new Vista OS will be the best option? What's the difference between the Basic and the Premium versions. Is it way different from Windows XP??? Any info would be appreciated! :)

i personally am going to switch to vista as soon as it comes out to provide feedback to microsoft.

but for a mainstream user i would suggest DONT BUY A NEW PC YET. wait about 6 months. give microsoft time to release a service pack for windows vista. and then it should be safe to buy one.
