You will never see a male worker at a fast food restaurant with a beard, but you see women with beards. Why is that?

I've seen male workers in fast food restaurants with beards...maybe it's just the fast food places YOU go to?

Eeewwwww! By all means, if a woman has facial hair, she should shave it if she is dealing with the public. It is no different than brushing/combing your hair, brushing your teeth, having neat clothes and clean hands. Perhaps the women you are speaking of have supervisors who are not skilled in tactfully telling a woman that her grooming habits are lacking and she needs to take care of it. In today's day and age of discrimination lawsuits, employers are often reluctant to say or do anything anymore without fear of being sued.
