i am in a bad mood today, so i will tell you what i think instead of what you want to hear.
it sounds to me like good old fashioned infatuation.

people say all the time that they are 'in love' but it is simply infatuation, as i stated.
meeting the family....great.
what else have you done to make the connection to LOVE?...................think about it, probably not very much.

he is proud of you,, you are in a new relationship, that's what people do when they are in a new relationship, they 'show off' their boy/girlfriend. sometimes to see what everyone thinks of them, and nothing more.

you sound young, just by reading your question, so my advice to you is: take it slow, nothing is going to happen in the next few months to change your life forever, (unless you do something stupid)so if he is 'the one' he will be the one 5 months from now.
slow and steady wins the race.

It's not bad, apparently he thinks highly enough of you to introduce you to the family. My husband and I got married after only only dating for 2 months and things are great. We had known each other for about a year more than that because we worked together. I met his whole family within a month of us dating. So sometimes those kind of situations work....Good Luck.

If I'm seriously interested in a girl I introduce her to my family. All of them that I can, I want thier opinions on her. If I'm not serious about her then my family would never know she existed.
