There are no secrets.
1. Stop running as this aggrivates the condition.
2. only jog or walk quickly for moderate exercise.
3. Tylenol works - however it's only temporary.
If you have continued problems, you need to see a doctor. I had a cyst that had to be surgically removed.

I know that drinking lots of water will help with cramps. Maybe taking a water bottle and a walkman to keep your mind off your cramping! Hope this works!

before running are you getting enough gatorade they also make am/ gatorade ,potassium chloride...40mg - electrolyte replenisher, calcium phosphate 18mg...magnesium carbonate..9mg.. are good to prevent fatigue and muscle cramps and heat prostration due to excessive prespiration 2 tablets per 8 oz water, this is what I take because I work under extreme heat ,you can take 5 to 10 times a day on depending on temperature and conditions.

My brother used to be a huge runner and he would buy something at the sports store, something you eat/drink while running. (It comes in a tube.) He was in marathons and would cramp up during them. You could ask at a running store or sporting goods store.

I have figure two ways to this Q. Eat Banna's it helps also fight them when you fight them that I noticr that you go stronger when you fight them. The frist day I ever ran I got cramps, and I fought them it is a normal body funtcion your bosy grows stronger every day.
