No matter which diet you choose, there is one thing that is necessary to lose weight. Excersize. Depending on how much you excersize will determine how much weight you will really lose. I have been very successful while cutting out almost all carbs and sugars and going to the gym about 5x a week. I usually eat some carbs right before and after i go to the gym (a piece of fruit or something) for energy, but thats it. This may not be your diet of choice but it definitely works. Whatever you decide, excersize will get you to where you want to be much faster.

based on my experince as well. I still eat 2 times a day. And in normal amount. But, i stopped eating after 8pm. And I do Exercise 3 times a week. It worth it.
Maybe this way won't make u lose ur weight so fast. But, the way that i suggest above is to make u have a routine time to eat and to stop.
And if u already get used to to eat in the exact time and amount, i believe you won't over weight. :)

Do a lot of exercising and eat less - that's the way that I lost weight a few years ago and have kept the weight off ever since.
