After my daughter was born i lived with my mom and dad because i had no money and i wasn't able to work because my pregnancy was a rough one i was high risk and had high blood pressure my parents helped me out and let me stay with them for a few months until i could get on my feet and move back to my place. My daughter is now a year old and i have been with my fiance for almost a year and i am moving in with him. When i told my mom and dad that i was moving they were supportive. But i feel bad for moving because they have helped me out. I repayed them for all the money they handed me and i have even helped out with their bills but i still feel bad for moving even though it's only 30 minutes away why do i feel bad about moving?

Don't feel bad about moving out, you won't be that far from them. It's good you found a place close by.
I lived with my folks for 2 years and three kids after a car accident and I was not able to be alone for along time. I paid them every cent back and then some. Finally I found a place to move too but it was out of state [ there was a lot of crying on moms side, Dad say have a nice trip ] think he was glad to get rid of us [LOL].
So be glad you are still close to them
Good luck..

You are suffering from Separation Anexity--this is NORMAL---it happens to a lot of people, you got comfortable, and even though you paid your parents back, part of you wants to stay and let them "take care" of you, and the other part wants to move on and prove you can take care of yourself. You can always go visit mom and dad, and since you have a child I hope that is often, they sound like great parents and grandparents. As long as you continue to see them, the "feeling bad" will go away. It might take a little while, it won't happen overnight.--And since you still feel you bad moving out, invite them over for Sunday dinners (or any other day) and make it a tradition. You soon won't feel bad anymore. Congrats on seeing that you needed help, and got it, and for repaying that help. It shows your parents that they also raised a great daughter who takes her responsibilities seriously and gets the "job" done. Best of wishes to you and your family.

I don't think you should feel bad. I'm sure your parents didn't mind having you live with them and I'm also sure they have a great bond with your daughter now. But they have raised their children and it's time for them to have some time together, kwim? It's fabulous that you paid them back and helped with the bills, a lot of people don't bother. Good luck to you and your new family!

Also, 30 minutes is not very far. You can go over there for dinner and I'm sure they'll watch the little one if you guys want to have some adult time.

You shouldn't feel bad about moving out of your parents' home! They were being very supportive of you and let you stayed in their home until you were able to get back on your feet! Even though you're moving in with your fiance, continue to keep in touch with your parents; give them a call, stop by and visit them, and do anything you can to keep in touch with them! Besides, I applaud you for doing the right thing by moving on with your life! Good luck to you!

Probably feel like you are taking the baby away from them, but, you are not doing that. The baby and them have a good start on great relationships that can last the baby's lifetime.
