Let a little air out of the tires. Dealers always do this so the car runs nice and smooth. 20-25psi should do the trick!

Change the oil, make sure the windshield isn't cracking or broken, make sure the tires still have a decent amount of tread on them. Repair anything that might need it (stereo, speakers, loose wires, non-working lights, etc). The less a car lot or buyer will have to do to make the car useable and safe, the more they'll give you for it.

Toyotas are usually easy to sell unless you are asking something unreasonable. From the top of my head, you should be able to get around $3-4,000 depending on mileage and general condition.

maintain your vehicle! also keep the records of your oil changes, repairs, etc. may not make a difference on trade in (wholesale bid) but if you plan to sell it on your own, can mean anywhere from a couple hundred to a couple thousand in your pocket
