Top of the Rock, better than Empire State, Statue of Liberty and Ellis Is., Central Park, MOMA (modern art museum) free Friday nights, Metropolitan Art Museum, a show on Broadway, see TKTS booth, half price tickets, Ground Zero, Metropolitan Opera tickets for $20 2 hrs prior to show. All great stuff, all cheap or free.

Go through China Town - experience the culture
Pay respects at Ground Zero
Check out Times Square
Take the ferry out to Statue of Liberty / Liberty Island
The Empire State Bldg is kewl but it costs $18.00 to go to top - if you wanna invest make sure it is a clear day for best viewing.
Just walk around Manhattan - try a slice of "pie" (pizza) or a hotdog from a vendor.
Taste it, hear it, smell it. Have a great time!
The city is full of culture and interest - Enjoy!
