We had these tuna w/pimiento sandwiches in the lunch room and they were delicious. I try to make them now, but I can't get the taste right.

Can of drained tuna, three tablespoons of chopped pimento, three tablespoons of mayonaisse, three tea spoons of sawdust and a handfull of broken glass shards and sand. You cannot make a tuna salad sandwich taste remotely good no matter what you do so at least make it interesting.

2 cans (7 ounces each), tuna, drained
1/2 cup cocktail onions, drained
2 tablespoons chopped green bell pepper
1/2 cup salad dressing or mayonnaise
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1/4 cup chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon pepper
Mixed Salad Greens
pimiento strips, optional
PREPARATION:
Toss tuna with cocktail onions and green pepper. Combine salad dressing, lemon juice, chili sauce, and pepper; stir into tuna mixture. Chill thoroughly and serve on a bed of mixed salad greens and garnish with pimiento strips if desired
