I went on this great first date and at the end of the date, I got the 'I'll call you' response'. I know it was great because I know he didn't want to leave. I definitely do not get the feeling that he is not going to call, but how long should I wait for him to call before I write him off?

This is my rule of thumb for how many days til write off;
1-2 = he's very interested
3-4 = he has you on his mind
5-6 = he couldn't make up his mind (OK or NOT)
7+ = fallback girl (girl #2 left on the back burner, just in case)

#1 rule woman to woman - you don't wait - you move on - call him if you want - but it's not just what he wants - its your wants too!! Just call him sweetie - the second time around he might not be what YOU want!!
If you had a best friend with the same situation your up against, what kind of info would you give her? Your advise is the best cause no one knows you better than yourself. Good Luck honey!

Give him four days. Then, if you want to take the lead (and have his phone number), give him a call and say you didnt remember who said who would call who. That way you can listen to what he has to say instead of assuming an action or non-action means something.

Don't call him. If it was great for him, he'll call within a couple of days. If he doesn't call, why chase after him?
