Check with TI (Texas Instruments) also. They had a really good guide available to design the antennas for RFID tags. The guide from TI was free, don't know about software though. But i know about 3 years ago they were really generous with RFID stuff to schools and students doing projects.

did you look at Barnes & Noble ? They have about 50 entries.
