u can open the recycle bin and right click on the image and restore it. or u can right click on recycle bin and restore files. which windows are u using? there are many other ways.

You should be able to...go to your recycling bin and right click on the file. go to restore and it should disappear. then go to the file where you kept the pictures and it should be there. if no you're screwed!

do a search on "norton commander". If there is such a thing for XP, it will let you recover the file.
